This is great information and so important for people with chronic disease. I agree that reducing our inflammation leads to self healing. I may not have gotten out of my wheelchair…but I feel great. As an auto-immune sufferer myself (psoriatic arthritis) and someone who was in constant pain with hign levels of inflammation I am always interested in learning more on the subject.
I struggled for years trying every thing the doctors could throw at me – eventually the anti-inflammatories resulted in me getting dangeroulsy high blood pressure. I was literally a stroke waiting to happen!
I had had enough and started doing some serious research concluding that many of my issues stemmed from my lifestyle – what I ate, what I drank and how I reacted to normal every day events. Taking chemicals by way of tablets was not the answer.
One of the many things I did, at the recommendation of my daughter, was to watch the documentary “Forks Over Knives” – 1 hour 20 minutes later my new life began as I ditched all animal products and oil. Within 2 weeks I started noticing the difference. Small at first but this soon became significant as the pain reduced and then disappeared totally.
That was nearlt 4 years ago now and I can say with absolute conviction and conficdence that I will never go back to eating animal products in any shape or form.
Natural supplements are a totally different thing to chemical pills and I believe they can aid a well functioning body. I’d be interested to try healing trilogy above and will look into the ingredients.

As someone who deals with and writes about a pain management niche, I couldn’t agree with you more about the importance of understanding what role inflammation plays in our ability to fight pain. One of the things I have found out is that a poor diet is the number one cause of inflammation in the body. I have often recommended a single ingredient food as a good way to better fight inflammation.
A single ingredient food is something that has not been processed or refined. Broccoli is a single ingredient food. You could boil it or lightly sauté it in coconut oil and it would be an excellent meal. A sausage however, is NOT a single ingredient food.
You have no idea how it was made or what went into making it. It is laden with additives, preservatives and chemicals that the average person probably can’t pronounce. It’s not unusual, for example, for a back pain sufferer, to grimace in pain after eating a sausage and not know why. In short, your post about managing inflammation by natural means is something I enjoyed very much reading. Thanks for sharing.
